Douglas Hand, Professor of Fashion Law at NYU Law and Cardoza & Founding Partner of Hand Baldachin & Associates, LLC

Douglas Hand is a professor of Fashion Law at NYU School of Law and Cardoza School of Law, as well as Founding Partner of Hand Baldachin & Associates, LLP, whose client list includes Stella McCartney, Everlane, Todd Snyder, and Zadig & Voltaire. Doug is a member of the CFDA Fashion Awards Guild, on the Board of Directors at FIT Foundation, and is a published author and host of the podcast, “The Laws of Style” covering topics related to fashion, style, and the law.  Doug has been featured in the New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Vanity Fair, American Bar Association Journal, Women’s Wear Daily, and The Business of Fashion.  He currently lives in Manhattan with his two children, partner Monica Phromsavanh, and their dog Reina.
